BE PREPARED!

Crisis situations do not announce their arrival in advance. Whether it is natural disasters, unexpected accidents, or intense emotional distress, the key to managing them successfully is preparedness. The training course “Be Prepared!” is designed to equip youth workers with the knowledge and skills needed to effectively handle emergencies and strengthen the overall resilience of young people in their communities.

The programme focuses on a comprehensive approach to safety, from technical first aid skills to psychological support in critical situations.

Project objectives:

  • Practical rescue and safety: Acquire skills in providing first aid and methods for responding to hazards such as fire, water, and earthquakes.
  • Psychological resilience: Learn the basics of psychological first aid (PFA) when working with young people experiencing high stress or after a crisis.
  • Leadership and safety culture: Build the capacity to lead communities towards greater preparedness and prevention.
  • Experience sharing:

Exchange best practices in crisis management among participants from different countries.

The project is ideal for
